Rasanjali,  a Sri Lankan Disability Rights Activist emphasis the importance of cross-border collaboration for disability inclusion.

Zero Project – Powering Accessibility Innovation 2025, the Asia Pacific Symposium 2025, was held on 18 September 2025 at the Enabling Village, Singapore. Ms. Rasanjali Pathirage - Founder President/CEO of Nation Forum of Women with Disabilities (NFWD) joined the symposium as a Panel Speaker.

This prestigious symposium, organized by hashtag#ZeroProject in partnership with hashtag#SGEnable, focused on “Powering Accessibility Innovation” – showcasing how accessibility and technology can transform the lives of persons with disabilities across Asia region.

 


In her presentation, Ms.Pathiraga  highlighted,  the importance of cross-border collaboration for disability inclusion, NFWD’s role in grassroots engagement, policy advocacy, and innovative economic empowerment initiatives and  the need to strengthen regional alliances, leadership and digital skills training, and promote accessible tourism models that drive both inclusion and economic growth.

A large  number of participants representing the countries in the region and globe attended the symposium.
