On the night when Jesus was unlawfully seized by the Jews under the orders of the chief priests, one of the disciples who was with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane, Simon Peter, drew a small sword that he had at his side and struck the ear of one of the men who came to arrest Jesus. Upon seeing this, Jesus turned to Peter and said, as recorded in the Holy Scriptures:

"Peter, put your sword back into its sheath.
Those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword."
Anyone who simply investigates many of the recent killings in Sri Lanka will clearly understand this truth.
When Aranchi Raala (News Guy) was a university student in 1983, he once participated in an inter-university cultural competition. One of the events was a speech contest, and the topic given was "Disarmament, War, and Peace."
Students from the law faculties of various universities, including the Law Faculty itself, took part in this competition alongside News Guy.
The panel of judges for this speech contest included the Late Rev. Fr. Marceline Jayakody, Professor Sunil Ariyaratne, and other scholars.
Ultimately, it was News Guy who won first place in the competition.
Commenting on this outcome when announcing the final results, Professor Sunil Ariyaratne said:
"According to the unanimous decision of the judging panel, the main reason this student was awarded first place was because, in speaking about disarmament, he never mentioned war or the weapons used in war.
He spoke only about the suspicion and fear that arise within people.
A person begins to suspect others, and even fear themselves, when they lose self-confidence. Throughout history, wars have been started by people who lacked self-confidence and lived with deep suspicion and fear of the world."
Human beings are social creatures. A critical element for successful communal living is one’s self-confidence.
The simple idea in the Christian belief that man was created in the image of God implies that every person has the strength to live with faith in themselves.
Whenever one loses that self-confidence, they attempt to artificially impose upon themselves a sense of superiority they do not possess.
The God of justice never considered one race to be superior and another inferior.
Therefore, God never chose one particular race to be special.
Thus, those Zionists who falsely claim that they are God’s chosen people are in fact a nation devoid of true self-belief.
The world must revisit the question of why Hitler decided that the Jews should be exterminated. Why did Hitler identify Jews as the most destructive race in the world? The time has come to study this deeply.
News Guy does not approve of the killings and abductions carried out by Hamas in their attacks on Israel.
However, it must be acknowledged that these are not isolated incidents.
Even with the full support of Western powers like the United States, Britain, and France, and using all its military might, Israel has still not been able to claim victory in the war it began to defeat Hamas.
But over 50,000 Palestinian civilians living in the Gaza Strip have been brutally killed, and among them are tens of thousands of innocent children.
Anyone who forcibly occupies another’s land will inevitably have to live in fear and suspicion.
Israel continues its daily attacks on its neighbors claiming it is for its own security,this is the reason.
